How did you spend this past weekend? I spent mine with books, fascinating authors, and inspiring stories from the 2021 #Bookfest, and was honored to interview #MarkKShriver about his third book, “10 Hidden Heros.”

For a man who’s grown up with many advantages, he’s taken lessons from his parents, #EuniceKennedyShriver and #SargentShriver, and tried to do good with them, writing about their positive influence of #giving, and strong message of #faith.

Ruben is a muralist, and designer, and chances are if you live in #LA, you’ve seen his artwork on the sides of buildings. By using a city landscape as his canvas, Ruben encourages positive change in communities through optimism and collaboration. His work can now be seen globally New York to Paris, and he joins us today not just to talk about his art, but how we need to listen to that voice from within that guides us toward our purpose.

Deborah Kobylt LIVE: Bobby Henline & Nony Geffen

Sometimes, we need to take a look at what life has thrown at us, and find the humor in it. And that’s just what retired Army Sgt. Bobby Henline did.

Henline was veteran of Desert Storm in his teenage years, and re-enlisted after 9/11/01. Sadly, his Humvee was blown up, and Henline was the only survivor, suffering burns over 40% of his body. During his extensive recovery, there were many down days, and he turned to humor as therapy. Now, he travels across the country lifting the spirits of others suffering from post-war trauma, giving hope that life is worth the struggle.

We will also speak with Ebba about the abuse she suffered as a young model, which led to a variety of issues. She will also share how she found strength, hoping to empower others hiding from the scars of abuse, and also empowering them to speak out.
