Deborah Kobylt LIVE: Mike Gordon

I LOVE authentic, Italian food like I’m in Italy, and when I eat at #Toscana Brentwood, I feel like I AM in Italy. And today, we speak with #MikeGordon, owner of Toscana, one of the most notorious Italian restaurants in all of Los Angeles for over two decades.
Mike fell in LOVE with all things Italian and spent time in Italy to learn everything about food and wine from the best. But it was actually a day spent with Wolfgang Puck that convinced Mike to get into the restaurant business over 25 years ago. Now he’s got six restaurants between LA, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Santa Ynez. In fact, Mike and his wife have a vineyard on their property in Santa Ynez, where he makes his own wine, and pizza, too! There’s so much to talk about from Mike’s background as an entertainment executive to his Hollywood A-List friends and customers. There’s so much to share, so please tune into our show today, with host #DeborahZaraKobylt, and bring a little bit of Italy into your life. #LittleItalyOfLA and #DeborahKobyltLIVE podcasts.

Deborah Kobylt LIVE: Patricia Di Carlo Bergen

How do you bring authentic Italy to the suburbs of Southern California? On our #LittleItalyOfLA Podcast, we speak with Patricia Di Carlo Bergen, who lives in Dana Point, CA, who’s been working on bringing not just authentic foods, but the relaxed lifestyle of Italy into our homes, too.

What does it mean to live like a true Italian? It starts with food, local ingredients, and a commitment to living a relaxed lifestyle that incorporates family first, while lingering over a fresh meal.

Patricia is currently in the process of opening CASAGIOVE California, a full Italian market experience offering some of the finest foods and delicacies from the Campania region where she would visit as a child with her mom, who was born in that region.

Patricia says there’s something special about the way Italians shop and prepare food, where eating becomes an experience and the dinner table becomes a place to take time to connect and really get to know one another. She hopes to bring that lifestyle here, to California and beyond, highlighting the beauty of Italian culture, food, and style.

Please join us and our host, #DeborahZaraKobylt, as we hear from Patricia about how we can all bring a little Italian into our homes, too🇮🇹 On all #LittleItaly of LA platforms and #DeborahKobyltLIVE.
