Kristen Coffield, Founder, The Culinary Cure and Active Grandparenting

Please welcome to our show Kristen Coffield, founder of The Culinary Cure and Active Grandparenting, who joins us to discuss how to feel better as we age. It’s not easy, but small starts help, such as hydrating. If we do anything every day, drink enough water. It’s good for our organs, skin, diet, and overall health. And if we’re hydrated properly, everything else follows.

Getting older is NOT easy, particularly when kids leave, parents pass on, and the life we knew for decades makes an abrupt change. It’s hard, it hurts, and often we slip down the rabbit hole of making poor choices, leading to a slew of health issues. And getting out of bad habits only gets harder. Kristen knows, because she’s been there, and fought her way back.

Lainie Sevanté Wulkan, Founder, ”Center for Intuitive Food TherapyTM, Wellness Author

Please welcome to our show today, Lainie Sevante Wulkan, food scientist and founder of The Center for Intuitive Food Therapy, in addition to author of “High Vibration Wellness: Intuitive Healing Therapies to Nourish Your Body Temple.” We’ll be talking about how certain foods are killing us and how we can detox from them through food therapy that we can all practice from home.

Particularly in the U.S., the ingredients in our food are unrecognizable, often creating an addiction to eating more foods that might taste good, but are harmful to us, causing health issues such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and early mortality. The only way out is to recognize this pattern, and learn to heal from within. And that’s where Lainie comes in. She works with clients, holds retreats, and teaches us how to eat for our body type, and also learn how certain foods are meant to heal certain parts of the body, such as red peppers for the heart, celery for bones, and so forth. It’s a scientific and spiritual journey into food and how it connects with nature and our bodies.
