David has been through some rough times in his own life, but he decided to turn those disappointments into something that mattered. He started the R.J. Rowell Foundation as a way to give back where he saw a need, providing backpacks filled with toys and activities to kids at three South Carolina hospitals where he’s from. But the giving didn’t stop there. His foundation reaches as far as Atlantic City, N.J. to Myrtle Beach, helping kids navigate school, camps, education, mentor programs and so much more.
